3. In
this March 2026 edition of FoodLegal Bulletin
Our FREE article “Current developments in food law and policy in Australia and internationally” provides the latest regulatory
developments and updates. There have been many news developments over the past
month and it is vital to read these updates. FoodLegal can advise businesses on
the impact of specific updates to their particular situation.
In “Risks and opportunities when using new or functional ingredients in food”, we use
case studies to explore how Australia and New Zealand’s food regulatory
framework applies to new or functional ingredients.
In “How can product classification impact product names and descriptors?”, we examine
various aspects of product classification and identity and how this impacts how
a product can be marketed.
In “Review of Horticulture Code raises an existential question” we address whether the
Horticulture Code of Conduct is still fit for purpose, and improvements that
could be made as part of a government review.
We hope you
enjoy this March 2026 edition of FoodLegal Bulletin!
