For the latest in the food and beverage world, get all the information from the new Australian Food News website http://www.ausfoodnews.com.au/. It helps you find all the information, goods, services, and the people and food knowledge you are ever likely to need!

Most of the information on the website is accessible for free, and the website has many great features, providing stacks of information and making it all so easy to find.

For the past 12 months, food lawyer Joe Lederman and his team of technologists and programmers have been working to create this unique online resource for the food industry.

The ‘Research Wizard’ feature is the website’s ‘Jewel-in-the-Crown’.  Its uniqueness is that it is an online search engine designed especially for the food and beverage industry in Australia.  If you log in for the website’s FREE registration program, “MyFoodNews”, you can access all the results of this amazing tool.  Just type in your keywords and all your requested information is assembled and neatly laid out for you in a matter of seconds.  More features and databases are being developed and added daily.  Any viewer can use the website’s unique Research Wizard search engine, so as to easily find information about: product sourcing, news articles and relevant links to information about nutrition, ingredients, food allergies and other medical information, health and food safety issues, food laws, codes and standards, food packaging and labelling requirements, and consumer information.

There is also an extensive Food Industry Directory.  The unique navigation at the site allows you to quickly find the goods and service providers you need to find.  For example; if you want supplies of any services for any food related business be it a food import business or a restaurant, a take-away, gourmet fresh produce, a factory or a farm.

All the services within the site bar one [the FoodLegal Bulletin] can be accessed FREE. You can log on to Australian Food News any time and add it to your favourites, or make it your home page.  Those who have joined the free ‘MyFoodNews’ registration at the Australian Food News website before 26 April 2007, are also eligible to go into the draw to win a AUD$2,000 travel voucher, details of which can also be found at the website http://www.ausfoodnews.com.au/
