2.Costly Recall on Allergy Alert
A report to Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) on 7 March 2005 of an undeclared allergen in pasta is an example of s food recall caused by an undeclared component. In this case the offending ingredient was Walnut Oil and was sufficient to initiate a costly product recall procedure.

3.Juice Bars Face Barred Juice
On 11 May 2005, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) announced that Berri Limited was being compelled to correct the claims made by Berri about various products in its bottles "enhanced" fruit juice ranges,, including the "Superjuice", "Free Zone", "Kickstart" and "Immune" juice products. The claims to contain certain "shots" of wheat grass and barley grass were also proven to be incorrect both in terms of the volumes needed and the fact that they were made from concentrates not in conformity with the nutritional panel description.
